Most humans think the shelter is a place to adopt dogs and cats BUT it’s a great place to find other animals too. Like me! My mom loves to tell how I was an ab...andoned Easter pet and she saved me! Here is my story.
I was bought by a girl at Easter but she didn’t know how to care for a baby bunny and she didn’t check her rental agreement prior to purchasing. This girl thought “no pets” didn’t apply to rabbits. Duh! However, she was forced to remove me from her partment so she dropped me at the shelter. I was 3 months old, alone, abandoned and very scared. I had been at the shelter for 17 days when my new mommy saw me on the website and came to my rescue. It was love at first sight! om says I’m the best pet in the world. I live inside because I’m litter box trained (that’s right cats, it’s not just you), I’m very quiet (take that little yappy dogs), I’m very playful (slinky is my favorite toy) and I love to hop, flip and jump around the house. Sometimes, I even play outside in the back yard! I eat lots of hay and tons of green leafy vegetables. Guess what? I have a brother now, Mario! Playtime is twice as fun! I have to be careful with him, he’s just a baby (even though he has a moustache!) So, my message to you is please rescue a dog, cat, snake, hamster, or bunny and restore a bit of hope!" -Bruno
